It's been far too long since we updated our news page. Hardly suprising though when you consider how far around the world we are stretching these days!
Rod and Penney represented Platform 1 on a visit to the Orient Hills daycare centre in Gauteng, South Africa in March. We will be developing a website soon. The centre offers daycare support to families in this informal settlement outside Johannesburg.
Meanwhile, to the north east, we have been producing three short audiovisual presentations for UNICEF Madagascar. These combine photography and sound captured by Kelley Lynch and are fundraisers for the Schools for Africa programme.
Heading over just a global bit to the west, a team is working away in Lima generating the Spanish translation of the ARC resource pack. We will be putting together the print and web versions of this capacity-building tool for child protection in and after emergencies.
Snigdha Zaman is the link for a swoop to South Asia, with her photographs for the ADD annual report, due out in June.
